Hi!  My name is Sarah Martelli.

I am a mum to three young children - Grace 9, Ruby 7 and Charlie 6. My husband Mathew and I live with the kids, our pet pig Pebbles, 6 chickens and our old cat Lily on a 400 cow dairy farm in Reporoa, New Zealand.  Life is pretty hectic with juggling kids’ activities, running the farm, the household, and being actively involved on the school PTA committee. Two years ago I became our school lunch lady and now along with my team of wonderful mums, we bring healthier, freshly-cooked food into our school each week which the children love!

After my recent illness I was determined to get my life back on track for myself and for my family.   At first I was so unfit I couldn’t even walk to the letterbox without feeling tired.  But I was determined to be the fittest, healthiest and strongest version of myself that I could be, so that I could play with my children again without getting puffed, and lose weight so I could feel good about myself again.  I wanted to lead the most fulfilling life I could, and so my own journey back to health began.

Having experienced what positive healthy changes did for me, I wanted to share that passion for fitness and nutrition and inspire other women to get active, to eat well and to become stronger versions of themselves; to see that moving their body a little bit more each day can bring huge health benefits to themselves and to those around them.  I knew I could help change their lives too, so I decided to go back to study!  After a long hard slog of studying part time with all the juggles of daily life, I qualified as an Advanced Personal Trainer. Now I run an Online Fitness Platform ‘Stronger You’, ladies group fitness classes and personal training sessions through Strong Woman Fitness.   

I know that if you believe in yourself you can achieve your goals with the right support.  I am proof that although making big changes in life may be hard, it is possible and I am here to support you!  Life is short and none of us know what's around the corner, so don’t put things off and wait until tomorrow.  We all have to start somewhere... in a months time you will thank yourself for making the decision to start changing your life. Contact me, I would love to help you become the strongest version of you!

I hold a Certificate in Advanced Personal Training from Fit College of New Zealand.

I am a women’s postnatal exercise specialist, having completed the intensive Modern Post Natal & Functional Exercise Prescription course from the world renowned Burrell Education.

I am very knowledgeable in women’s post partum exercise & recovery, pelvic floor health (urinary incontinence & prolapse), abdominal seperation (diastasis recti) & abdominal surgery recovery, having had personal experiences with these things.
